Botox & neuromodulator injections.

Precise, clinically administered neuromodulator treatments for dynamic wrinkles, facial balance, and muscle-related concerns.

What it is

Targeted muscle relaxation. Natural results.

Neuromodulators — including Botox and similar products — work by temporarily interrupting the signal between a nerve and its target muscle. The result is controlled relaxation of specific facial muscles, which softens the lines and creases that form from repeated expression over time.

This is a precision treatment. Outcomes depend on accurate placement, appropriate dosing, and a thorough understanding of facial anatomy. At Millard Premier Medicine & Aesthetics, all injections are administered by credentialed medical providers — not aestheticians or unlicensed staff.

Neuromodulators are also used for non-cosmetic indications, including masseter reduction for jawline slimming or TMJ-related tension relief, and hyperhidrosis treatment for excessive sweating. Your provider will assess which application is appropriate for your goals.

What to expect

Results that last 3–4 months.

Your appointment begins with a brief consultation — your provider reviews your goals, assesses your facial anatomy, and maps injection sites before treatment begins.

Neuromodulators do not produce immediate results. The effect emerges gradually over 3–7 days as the muscle relaxes, with peak results typically visible at two weeks. Duration varies by individual, but most patients find their results last 3–4 months.

Maintenance is straightforward: return for follow-up treatment when you notice movement returning. Over time, many patients find they need fewer units to maintain their results as treated muscles become conditioned.

Before your appointment

  • Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior.
  • Discontinue blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, vitamin E, aspirin) if medically appropriate — ask your provider.
  • Come with a clean face, free of makeup.
  • Arrive ready to discuss your goals and any prior treatments.

After your appointment

  • Avoid strenuous exercise and increased heat (sauna, hot yoga) for 24 hours.
  • Do not lie down or bend forward for 4 hours after treatment.
  • Do not massage or apply pressure to treated areas.
  • Mild redness and pinpoint bruising are normal and resolve quickly.
  • Results emerge over 3–7 days — schedule a two-week follow-up if needed.
